With over 7 years’ experience in Legal Aid billing, Nikhil is a specialist in the field of costing.
Nikhil began his career in costing with no prior knowledge of the field, however quickly developed an interest. His focus, dedication and enthusiasm to learn all about Legal Aid billing soon led to a management role.
Having managed an in-house billing team for over 4 years, as well as leading teams for external Legal Aid firms, Nikhil is no stranger to adapting with the needs of each firm. Additionally, Nikhil has the expertise in understanding how Legal Aid billing teams work to maximise costs.
Nikhil has a vast amount of knowledge in Legal Aid billing and aims for claims to be paid from the first submission with no mistakes. Some of the areas he specialises in include:

- Processing Bill of Costs to the Court and completing post assessment

Nikhil started NS Costings Ltd in February 2018 to provide excellent billing services to Legal Aid firms. His goal is to maximise profitability for firms and help fee earners with the costing of their files.
Outside of work Nikhil enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures. Nikhil is also an avid Manchester United fan and enjoys sports.
